Atuel Canyon Tour Itinerary
Departure from Mendoza: Our trip starts early in the morning leaving from Mendoza, heading to Valle de Uco. As we drive away from the city, vineyards and farmland give way to spectacular mountain scenery.
Uco Valley: First stop in the beautiful Uco Valley, famous for its wine cellars and views of the Andes Mountains. Here, you will have the opportunity to take pictures and enjoy the breathtaking scenery this region has to offer.
El Nihuil Dam and Reservoir: We continue to El Nihuil Dam and Reservoir, a vast body of water surrounded by pure nature. It is the perfect place for lovers of fishing, hiking, and water sports. You will have time to explore the surroundings and capture the beauty of the place with your camera.
Arrival to Valle Grande: we will stop in Valle Grande, where you will have the option to have lunch in one of the local restaurants overlooking the reservoir (lunch not includedin the tour cost). Enjoy typical Mendocinian dishes while relaxing in a peaceful environment.
Atuel Canyon: after the stop in Valle Grande, we will continue our tour until we reach the Atuel Canyon. Get ready to see rock formations, views of the Atuel River, and natural sculptures such as the Sillón de Rivadavia and the Wax Museum. You will be amazed by their beauty. Our guides will share stories and facts about how this landscape was formed over millions of years.
San Rafael: Last stop on our tour. Quiet town for strolling, sightseeing, and local shopping. Enjoy the tranquility and beauty of this urban oasis.
Return to Mendoza: after a day full of adventure and breathtaking scenery, we start our return trip to Mendoza, arriving at approximately 09:30 PM.
