Itinerary Beagle Channel Maritime Excursion:

The Beagle Channel Maritime Excursion will take you to sail the Beagle Channel in Argentina. You will be able to enjoy the impressive landscape and the majestic mountains that run along its coasts. On this catamaran sailing tour, you will visit Sea Lion Island, which offers visitors the perfect opportunity to see marine mammals in their natural habitat and observe the typical fauna of Tierra del Fuego, while enjoying an unforgettable experience exploring the nature and marine life of Ushuaia.

    The Beagle Channel Boat Tour

The Beagle Channel navigation itinerary begins in the tourist port of Ushuaia. There you will board a catamaran to sail through Golondrina Bay, which is located on the northern margin of the Channel.

As the boat moves away from the coast, you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the landmarks of the city of Ushuaia and the mountains surrounding the island. You will be able to witness wonderful landscapes such as:

    - The Olivia Mountains
    - Five Brothers
    - Escarpados Mountains
    - The Fique and Túnel ranches
    - The Encajonado River.

Later, heading southwest, this guided sea excursion through the Beagle Channel will arrive at Cormorant Island, home of the typical seabird of this area. Watch as they hunt for fish by diving into the water, before continuing your navigation to “Isla de Lobos”. Here you will be able to see sea lions up close, from various angles and learn more about the habits of this colony.

Sailing the Beagle Channel by catamaran to Lobos Island is one of the most traditional activities in Ushuaia and is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful.

The Lighthouse at the End of the World

This maritime tour will continue through the Beagle Channel to reach one of the most representative symbols of adventure travel: the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, which in French means 'illuminators' or 'explorers'.

The Eclaireurs Lighthouse is also known, incorrectly, as the Lighthouse at the End of the World. This name refers to Jules Verne's novel, inspired by the San Juan de Salvamento located in La Isla de Los Estados. The oldest lighthouse in Argentina and the first to be built in southern waters, the Eclaireurs lighthouse is famous for its location and is the reference point of the channel. After visiting this famous monument, we will return to Ushuaia.

Reserve your place in the Beagle Channel Maritime Excursion, with argentina4u.com you will have a safe trip with all the necessary comforts to navigate without problems.

You will visit natural environments that will give you the chance to fully appreciate the nature and wildlife of the region. A catamaran ride for the whole family to enjoy. Don't miss it !
