The Estancia 25 de Mayo day Tour is the perfect opportunity to get to know the routine and traditions of a typical Patagonian ranch. Surrounded by wonderful natural landscapes you will be able to taste local dishes in the middle of a gaucho atmosphere.
This day tour starts when the guide picks you up at your hotel. After a half hour drive through the countryside, you will be welcomed at the peaceful Estancia 25 de Mayo with a nice bonfire with fried cakes and road coffee, as well as yerba mate and hot water, a typical Argentinean tradition. The tour continues with a demonstration of sheep herding and pen work.
Afterwards, we will enjoy a beautiful walk through the grounds of the hacienda until we reach the Arroyo viewpoint where you will have a great interpretation of the regional flora as well as enjoy a delicious mountain wine and a lamb confit.
On the way back to the ranch you will have the opportunity to tour the organic vegetable garden and the first buildings of the Estancia. Finally you have the option to add a delicious dinner in the restaurant "El Quincho" with a welcome aperitif and take a 45min horseback riding lesson.
