Itinerary Jewish Heritage Tour

Visit the Jewish Community of Buenos Aires to discover its fascinating traditions and visit the most important Jewish monuments in Argentina.

Buenos Aires is the largest Jewish community in Latin America and the seventh largest community outside Israel. The Jewish community began its immigration to Argentina at the end of the 19th century and settled in the Buenos Aires neighborhoods of Barracas, Balvanera and Villa Crespo.

The visit to the Jewish Community of Buenos Aires starts at the Temple of Liberty (Synagogue of the Israelite Congregation of the Argentine Republic), the largest and oldest Jewish temple in the country. You will continue the tour to one of the most important points of daily life of the Jewish Community, the AMIA (Asociación Mutual Israelita Argentina), an association created to maintain the Jewish traditions.

Finally, you will tour Once, one of the most traditional Jewish neighborhoods. You will explore the wonderful synagogues, as well as the place where the Israeli Embassy in Buenos Aires was located before the terrorist attack in 1992.

Book this informative and interesting Jewish Community Tour that will leave you with an overview of the Buenos Aires Jewish community, its position in today's society, its past difficulties and triumphs. Discover the largest Jewish community in South America.
