Puerto Madryn Luxury Travel Package

Day 1: Hello Puerto Madryn!

Our guide will be waiting for you at the Trelew airport to welcome you. We'll take you in a private car to your accommodation in the city of Puerto Madryn. The rest of the day will be free for you to get acquainted with the city.

Day 2: Private Whale Watching in Submarine and Peninsula Valdes

Early in the morning, we'll meet with a professional guide who will accompany us all day. The first stop will be at the Carlos Ameghino Isthmus Interpretation Center, where you'll learn all the details about the fauna, flora and geology of the Peninsula in a didactic way. This first stop will give us the opportunity to identify what we will observe throughout the day.

We'll pass by the panoramic points of Golfo Nuevo, San José and Isla de los Pájaros. Then, we'll arrive at the town of Puerto Pirámides where we'll be able to enjoy an incredible experience such as whale watching (from June to December). This excursion is done aboard the yellow semi-submersible submarine.

This semi-submersible allows us to observe the whales submerged in their habitat. Underwater, the perspective is completely different, we'll have the feeling that we are diving with them. On board, passengers can move freely and also opt for the deck of the ship to observe from the surface of the water as in a traditional whale watching tour.

We'll continue with our land tour, subject to the season, weather or tides, we'll visit in different order or combine with other stops: Caleta Valdes, Punta Cantor and Punta Norte to observe elephant seals and sea lions.

We'll return to our hotel around 7 pm.

Day 3: We'll meet the penguins.  

We'll pick you up at your hotel around 07:45 to start our excursion. We'll head to the port of Rawson, where Playa Unión is located. We'll have some free time to explore the port and the views from the beach.

We continue our trip to Punta Tombo, where we'll observe the Magellanic penguins. This place will be key to enjoy the sighting of the diverse fauna that inhabits the area, not only penguins but also seagulls, cormorants, and even guanacos, choiques, maras and foxes.

On the way back we'll be passing through the Welsh village of Gaiman, where we can learn more about the interesting culture of this place and you'll have the option to enjoy a delicious Welsh tea (optional, not included).

We'll be returning at approximately 6:30 pm and the night will be free for you to say goodbye to this coastal city.

Day 4: Goodbye Puerto Madryn

After breakfast, we'll take you to the airport, just in time to catch your flight and say goodbye to this city full of wildlife.
