Itinerary Puerto Madryn vacation package:
Day 01 - Welcome to Trelew
Our guide will be waiting for you at the Trelew airport to welcome you. We'll take you in a private car to your accommodation in the city of Puerto Madryn. The rest of the day will be free for you to get acquainted with the city.
Day 02 - Península Valdés
Early in the morning, we'll head to Puerto Pirámides. There you'll have the opportunity to take navigation, whose main attraction is whale watching (from June to December). Outside these months and during the period from December to March the navigation is also done but with the objective of watching sea lions, cormorants, and possibly dusky dolphins.
Continuing with the tour we arrive at the reserve of Punta Norte, in this place we'll find an important sea lion and elephant seal colony. Finally, we can go to Punta Cantor. A panoramic point from where you can see the outer coast of the Peninsula and the amazing topography of Caleta Valdes. Return to your hotel.
Day 03 - Discovering the penguins
Departing from your hotel, we'll start the tour to the penguin colony of the Punta Tombo Provincial Reserve. After a journey of about two and a half hours contemplating the Patagonian steppe, we arrive at the immeasurable penguin colony, 200 hectares of clay and sand that house thousands of caves where penguins lay their eggs and raise their young.
We'll walk the trails among the penguins and we'll be able to appreciate the behavior of this friendly species for an hour and a half.
In the afternoon we'll visit the Welsh colony of Gaiman. You'll be able to walk around the village observing the most relevant historical points. The guides will familiarize you with the history of colonization and the typical architectural styles of the place. The time for a break will arrive with a stop at a tea house where you'll have the option of tasting a traditional Welsh tea.
We return to the city of Puerto Madryn at sunset and you'll have the evening free to say goodbye to the city.
Day 4: Saying goodbye to Puerto Madryn
After breakfast, we'll take you to the airport, just in time to catch your flight and say goodbye to this city full of wildlife.
