Itinerary South America trip Package - Patagonia To Rio De Janeiro:

Day 1 - Arrival to Buenos Aires:

According to your flight, a driver will be waiting for you at the arrivals area with a sign with your name, to transfer you to your hotel in downtown Buenos Aires. You will have the rest of the day free to explore the city.

Day 2 - Walking Tour and Tango Show:

The day begins with a walk around the city. At about 10 am, you will leave your hotel to visit the most beautiful and interesting places. The tour is done on foot and by public transport, to cover a comprehensive visit of Downtown, San Telmo, La Boca and Recoleta where our tour ends.

This tour is ideal for taking pictures and visiting areas outside the massive tourist circuit. The tour ends at approximately 4:30 pm. In the evening, between 8pm and 8.30pm we will pick you up at your hotels to enjoy a beautiful dinner accompanied by an unforgettable Tango show.

The event will take place at El Querandí, one of the most popular tanguerias in San Telmo. You will be welcomed with a gourmet dinner in three courses with a wide selection of typical dishes and regional wines.

Afterwards, you will be able to witness an incredible show, which reviews the History of Tango with different dancers and singers. At the end, around midnight, you will be returned to your hotel.

Day 3 - Sailing to the Tigre:

The tour starts at the boat terminal in the luxurious Puerto Madero neighborhood, where you will meet your guide at 9:45am. From there you will sail across the Rio de la Plata and the Delta, to enjoy the best views of the city.

Once in Tigre, you will take a sightseeing bus ride, to see the main attractions. We will then continue with a walking tour of the famous Fruit Port market. Finally, we will return to Buenos Aires by train to Retiro station, where the tour ends.

Day 4 - Arrival to Ushuaia:

Our transportation service will take you to the airport to take your flight. Once you arrive in Ushuaia, you will be transferred to your hotel to check in and enjoy the rest of the day off.

Day 5 - Tierra del Fuego National Park:

Pick up at the hotel and transfer to Tierra del Fuego National Park, located 11 km from the city. You will be able to appreciate lakes, lagoons and rivers within its limits, and its exit to the Beagle Channel.

From Ensenada bay, we will be able to see the Redonda and Estorbo islands, the coast of the Beagle Channel and the white mountains of the Sampaio chain (Chile). We will go to Roca Lake to make a long walk along its coast and along the Lapataia River; on the way we will observe the Green Lagoon and the Black Lagoon. Finally we will pass by the beaver dams, whose path will lead to Lapataia Bay.

Day 6 - Sailing in the Beagle Channel:

Departure from the hotel towards the tourist port to board our boat. From there, the tour goes to the center of the Beagle Channel, towards the southwest, arriving at the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, in the archipelago of the same name. In one of these islands it is possible to observe parts of the ship Monte Cervantes, which was shipwrecked in 1930.

Heading towards Los Lobos Island, we can see these curious and friendly marine mammals and in complete silence sail around the island for about 20 minutes observing their permanent habitat, a wonderful scenario.

Then the catamaran will head towards Los Pajaros Island to see the carmorants, Magellanic and the majestic Imperial Cormorants, the Albatrosses, Petreles Fullman, Giant Petreles, Squas and 20 different species of sea birds.

Later, sailing through Paso Chico, we return to Ushuaia, with a view of the beautiful frame that gives the city the Martial Mount and its glacier of the same name.


Day 7 - Arrival to Calafate:

According to your departure flight, a driver will pick you up from your hotel to take you to the airport. Once in El Calafate, you will be transferred to your hotel to check in. You will have the rest of the day off.


Day 8 - Perito Moreno and Nautical Safari:

We will pick you up at your hotel around 9am to travel along the scenic Route 11, which borders the main body of Lake Argentino on the way to Los Glaciares National Park. Once we arrive at the park, we will drive to the Curva de los Suspiros, where we will get off the vehicle to observe the Perito Moreno Glacier for the first time.

Later, we will make another stop at the Bajo las Sombras Pier to navigate to the south wall of the Glacier. We will then continue to the front walkways of the glacier, where we will observe it from various balconies located at different heights, which will allow us to appreciate it from different angles, each one more surprising than the last. In the afternoon we will return to El Calafate.


Day 9 - Free day:

This day you can do the glacier navigation and get to know a little more of them or we also suggest doing the visit to Estancia Cristina which already includes the navigation to see other glaciers.


Day 10 - Arrival to Iguazu and Brazilian Falls:

Our transfer will take you to the airport to take your flight to Puerto Iguazú. There you will be met and transferred to the hotel to check in. Then, in the afternoon, you will start the excursion to visit the Falls on the Brazilian side.

The Iguassu National Park (Brazilian side) has an extension of 185,000 acres. The route of the footbridges is 1,200 meters of path on the Iguazú River ravine. You will be able to obtain a panoramic view of the Argentinean waterfalls, which is an ideal place to take pictures.

At the end of the tour you will reach the lower viewpoint of the Garganta del Diablo, which is about 200 meters away. This wonderful sight is further enhanced by the constant formation of the rainbow.


Day 11 - Argentine Falls:

You will start the day with an early morning transfer from hotels to visit the Argentine side of the park. Once through the entrance gate, continue to the Central Station, where the option is to take a train service that takes you to the Cataratas Station and/or Garganta del Diablo Station.

The other option to access the Cataratas Circuits (Upper and Lower Walkway) is through the Green Path, 600 meters long, which begins at the Visitor Center and ends at the Cataratas Station.


Day 12 - Arrival in Rio de Janeiro:

Based on the option selected, our transfer will take you to the airport in Puerto Iguazu or Foz do Iguaçu, to catch your flight to Rio de Janeiro. Once there, you will be transferred to your hotel to check in and enjoy the rest of the day off.


Day 13 - Corcovado and Sugar Loaf Mountain:

We begin with pickup from your hotel to visit Mount Corcovado and the Christ the Redeemer Statue, located 710 meters above sea level. From the top you can see the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, the northern zone and several beaches. We will be able to make the climb on the historic train. After taking in the wonderful panoramic view of the city, we will enjoy a delicious traditional lunch before continuing our tour.

After lunch we will visit the Pão de Açucar, located at 395 meters above sea level, in the middle of the Guanabara Bay. The ascent is done by cable car to the top of the mountain, from which you have a wonderful 360° view of the Guanabara Bay, Copacabana, Urca, Botafogo, Flamengo and its surroundings.


Day 14 - Guanabara Bay:

On this historical and touristic trip, you will take a boat that will border the Guanabara Bay, visiting points of cultural importance and great beauty.

Our tour will take you to the Flamengo, Botafogo and Urca beaches, the Pão de Açucar, the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Rio-Niterói Bridge, the Island of Enxadas and the Monument to the Dead from the Second World War, just to mention some of the places to visit.


Day 15 - Farewell to Rio:

According to your flight itinerary, you will be transferred to the airport, to continue your trip or return home.
