Tour Itinerary: A unique experience through the Tierra del Fuego National Park and the End of the World Train

The tour commences with a journey along Route 3 to the foothills of Mount Susana, where the End of the World Train Station is located.

End of the World Train Ride (optional): A prominent feature of this tour is the opportunity to board this famous and historical train that once transported prisoners in Ushuaia's former jail. Today, the train offers a picturesque journey through the pristine landscapes of Tierra del Fuego.

Covering 8 km, the train ride passes through the beautiful valleys of the National Park, accessible only by this exclusive means of transportation. Beyond the somber history that surrounds this railway, the End of the World Train experience offers a unique complement, allowing you to revel in a landscape that seems straight out of a dream.

After the train ride, visitors can explore the End of the World Train Interpretation Center, where historical objects related to the prison and the train are displayed, offering deeper insights into the region's history.

Following the Austral Train experience, the service continues through the Pipo River Valley to Ensenada Bay. Here, after a short walk through the park's trails, you can experience direct contact with the ecosystem and arrive at an observation point that offers a spectacular view of Redonda and Estorbo Islands, the opposite coast of the Beagle Channel, and the snow-capped Sampaio Range in Chile.

The tour then takes an unforgettable exploration through paths surrounded by Magellanic forests and their waters, rich in birdlife, marine mammals, and fish. Your guide will share the history of the Yámanas, the ancient indigenous inhabitants of the area, while you marvel at the breathtaking landscape provided by the Andes Mountains and the Chilean border crossing.

Subsequently, we'll make a stop by the shores of Lake Roca or Lake Acigami, as it was originally named in the indigenous language. This glacial lake, like many bodies of water in the area, is characterized by its crystal-clear waters and its shoreline covered in fine stones resulting from sedimentation. At this spot, you'll find a small shelter, where you can enjoy a warm drink before commencing the journey back home.

The final stop of this tour in Ushuaia is at Bahía Lapataia, the geographical point marking the end of National Route 3, also known as the Pan-American Highway, whose starting point lies in Buenos Aires.
