Itinerary Ushuaia Helicopter Flight
If being at the edge of the world is not enough of a thrill for you, go one step further and experience Ushuaia from a whole new perspective: from the air! This Helicopter Sightseeing Flight will allow you to appreciate the dramatic beauty of Southern Patagonia from above. Enjoy the best views of the breathtaking beauty of the mountains, islands, glaciers, city and harbor. If you’re lucky, you may even spot some wildlife!
You can choose your flight time, depending on how much and what you’d like to see. There are 6 options to choose from:
Ushuaia City Tour (7min): This flight will give you an excellent view of the city, Golondrina Bay, Monte Susana, Martial Glacier, Presidio and Puerto Ushuaia harbor and bay. Minimum 2 passengers.
Emerald Lagoon (15min): Fly over Ushuaia city, and get a clear view of Olivia Mountain. From there continue on to Monte Cinco Hermanos, the peat lands of Carbajal Valley, Tierra Mayor Valley, Emerald Lagoon, and end off over Ushuaia Bay.
Landing at Le Cloche Summit (30 min): Fly over Ushuaia and Emerald Lagoon, as well as Le Cloche Summit and Rio Encajonado Valley. Land on the summit at an altitude of 1,000m, where you’ll be able to get out and admire the spectacular view.
Remolino’s Ranch (45min): Fly over Ushuaia and Emerald Lagoon, and then on to Cerro Castor, Remolino Ranch, the shipwreck of “Vapor Presidente Sarmiento” and along the Beagle Channel's Coast. Flight includes landing at the Le Cloche Summit where we will toast the view with a glass of champagne.
Great Lakes (60 min): Fly over Ushuaia and Lake Esmaraldo, as well as Cerro Castor, Lake Escondido, Lake Fagnano, Torito Bay and Carbajal Valley. An alternative return route can be taken, according to the passengers’ needs.
Harberton Ranch and Penguins (75 min): Flight goes over the city and harbour of Ushuaia, Tierra Mayor Valley, Olivia Mountain. From Carbajal Valley fly to Emerald Lagoon, Cerro Castor and Cornu Hill, where you will arrive at Harberton ranch. Land and visit Isla Martillo and the penguins.
