Discover the secrets of Ushuaia in a unique experience: Explore the majestic Beagle Channel and walk among charming penguins

This tour starts at our meeting point located at the picturesque tourist pier. From there, we will embark on the impressive Martillo Island. We will travel in a comfortable bus along route N.3, where you will be able to appreciate the beauty of the beautiful Fuegian forest while taking unforgettable pictures.

Among the tourist sites in this part of Patagonia that you will visit in the summer is Estancia Harberton, the oldest, most traditional, and authentic ranch in Ushuaia. Here you will take a guided tour of the Acatushún Museum of Austral Birds and Mammals, where you will see an incredible collection of skeletons of more than 2,700 marine mammals and 2,300 birds.

The estancia was founded in 1886 by Thomas Bridges, a British Anglican missionary. It is considered one of the oldest ranches in the region and has been managed by the Bridges family for more than five generations.

Estancia Harberton offers a unique combination of history, nature, and culture in the beautiful surroundings of Ushuaia. It is a popular destination for those who wish to explore the region and learn about its history and biodiversity.

We will then meet up to sail the stunning Beagle Channel on our yacht. During this trip, we will have the opportunity to make a first stop at Isla de Pájaros (bird island), also known as Cormorant Island, which is famous for hosting a large number of seabirds, especially cormorants. These birds play a crucial role in the balance of the marine ecosystem and food chain.

Our second stop will be Isla de Lobos (wolves island), as its name suggests, the island is famous for being the habitat of a large colony of sea lions. These marine mammals congregate on the island to rest, reproduce and raise their young.

Next, we will pass by the famous Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse, which is located on a small rocky islet known as Les Éclaireurs Islet. The lighthouse is an iconic structure of the region, recognized for its picturesque appearance and scenic location. It was built in 1919 to guide navigation in the Beagle Channel and mark the entrance to Ushuaia Bay. Les Éclaireurs lighthouse has a height of approximately 11 meters and its light has a range of approximately 18 nautical miles. This stop at the lighthouse is approximately 15 minutes, where you will have time to take pictures and admire the surrounding landscape.

You will also have time to visit a cozy cafe in Puerto Almanza, where you can relax, take beautiful pictures and enjoy some quiet time.

Afterward, we will sail for approximately 20 minutes in a semi-rigid to the Martillo island, where you will have the unique opportunity to walk alongside the Magellanic penguins and gentoo penguins in Tierra del Fuego for an hour, an unforgettable experience that you will surely remember forever. You will see how the penguins build their nests, take care of their eggs and raise their young. You will witness their social interactions, their unique way of moving, and how they glide nimbly through the water.

During the tour, an expert guide will provide you with fascinating information about the penguins' life, their reproduction cycle, and the challenges they face in their environment.

Don't miss the opportunity to walk in the natural habitat of the Magellanic Penguins!
