Itinerary
Join this exclusive day tour in Bariloche to Cerro Lopez in a 4x4 and enjoy a snow adventure in most traditional nature reserve of the area. Cerro Lopez towers above Bariloche at an impressive 1620 meters above sea level and thus not only offers incredible views, but also plenty of snow for you to enjoy.
The 4x4 day tour will take you from the base of Cerro Lopez along an off-road track through the Nahuel Huapi National Park and its breathtaking lakes, islands and mountains. After enjoying the 4x4 adventure, the snow trekking begins. The group will continue on a guided trek in snow shoes, which not only is a unique and enjoyable experience but also gives you a chance to learn about the local nature and appreciate the astonishing beauty of the Cerro Lopez.
The snow trek ends at the Refugio Roca Negra, where a warm welcome will awaits you. Once at the refuge, you can warm up with an exquisite fondue including some specialties typical to this alpine area of Patagonia and take some time to relax before heading off again in the 4x4 towards the base of Cerro Frias. From there, at the end of the tour, you will be driven back to Bariloche.
