Itinerary El Calafate Luxury Travel Package:

Day 1. Welcome to El Calafate

Our guide will be waiting for you at the Calafate airport to welcome you to one of Argentina's most famous tourist destinations. We'll take you to your hotel in El Calafate in a private car. The rest of the day is free

Day 2. Minitrekking on the Perito Moreno Glacier

(Minitrekking takes place from the beginning of August to the first days of June).

After breakfast, we'll pick you up at your hotel accompanied by our guide. From there, you'll go to the boarding pier located in the Bajo de las Sombras port, about 6 km before the glacier balconies where you'll embark for 20-minute navigation observing the admirable landscapes between channels and lakes.

We'll continue along the lakeshore towards the edge of the glacier. Once on the glacier, we'll enjoy the two-hour circuit that introduces us to the fascinating landscape of the glaciers: streams, small lagoons, ravines, ledges, and plenty of ice formations of the most incredible blue tones.

The ice surface on which you walk is uneven but firm and safe. Our guide will tell you about the flora, the fauna, the general glaciology of the region, as well as the particular phenomenon that occurs on the Perito Moreno glacier and eventually leads to its rupture.

After the walking tour, a stroll through the forest, and along the panoramic walkways, we'll return to the hotel to rest from our day of adventure.

The night is free for you to rest and enjoy the small town.

Day 3: Gastronomic cruise and navigation on the glacier.

We'll pick you up at your hotel and take you to the embarkation area. The navigation starts to the northwest, crossing Punta Avellaneda and Boca del Diablo, the narrowest pass of the lake with almost 800 meters.

After two hours of navigation surrounded by ice floes of the most varied colors and shapes, we'll stop in front of the iceberg barrier that currently blocks the entrance to the Upsala Channel. If the weather conditions are good, we'll observe the Upsala glaciers in the distance. We'll have the opportunity to appreciate a unique landscape.

We'll continue navigating the Argentino Lake towards the south taking the Spegazzini Channel to reach the glacier with the same name. The navigation allows us to approach the glacier that has front walls between 80 and 135 meters (262 - 443 feet) above the lake level.

Towards the afternoon, the Cruise will arrive at Las Vacas Post where your engines will stop to allow you to share a fun hike coordinated by our team of guides. At this stop, it is possible to see impressive panoramic views of the Spegazzini Glacier.

Once on board, we'll return to the initial dock to finish this day of navigation. Our guide will take you to your hotel so you can rest and say goodbye to the city.

Day 4: Goodbye to the glaciers.

Depending on your flight schedule, we'll take you to the airport, just in time to catch your flight and say goodbye to southern Argentina.
